Landscape Committee
This committee is an active group of volunteers who develop annual plans for the front entrance, road corners, clubhouse and pool areas. Volunteers also help plant and maintain these areas on a regular basis. In addition, the committee works with the Director of Facilities to hold Community Cleanup Days for maintenance of Indigo Trail and other common areas. New members are welcome anytime! Members are: Rachel Janney, Shay Watkins and Gale Whitworth.
Facilities Committee
Chaired by the Director of Facilities, this committee of volunteers help out with Community Clean Up Days and other maintenance tasks on an “as needed basis.” New members are welcome!

Municipal Affairs Representative
Ensures that the POA has representation at all applicable County and Southport City public meetings to keep current on public policy discussions or decisions that could impact property owners in the association. The representative monitors city services provided for Indigo Plantation and advocates as needed when services need to be improved or provided. He or she also builds relationships with city officials to advocate for the association’s needs.
POA Representative: Ginny Prunty – (240) 672-3186 prunty@mindspring.com
Social Committee
In order to promote a sense of community and provide a fun opportunity for neighbors to meet neighbors, the Social Committee plans 3-4 socials per year, including the annual June pool party, complete with live beach music. Typically these events are held on Sunday afternoons, and attendees are asked to bring a dish to share along with their own favorite beverage. Members are: Angela Kaiser, chair, Susan Bise, Debbie Kuban and Joanne Dudley.
New committee members with new ideas are always welcome!
